James Bradley is co-founder and CEO of Energon Petroleum (Pty) Ltd. James is a high-energy professional and entrepreneur who leads companies through change and challenge to profitable growth. James is a strategic problem-solver who envisions smart solutions and executes with urgency across all levels of the organization. He is a hands-on leader with extensive management and technical experience who can keep teams focused and productive. He is an outstanding strategist with a track record of success in highly competitive business markets and has extensive experience in property development and project management. James is skilled in negotiating partnerships and alliances with a keen ability to capture opportunities and catapult new development ventures. James is also the co-founder and a director of BradleyAviation Technologies. The company’s vision is to design, develop and manufacture technologically advanced aerospace products, and to establish a modern aircraft manufacturing capability in South Africa. Future projects entail establishing a training facility, a certification and design unit and establishing an Innovation Hangar to enable the youth to realise their aviation potential As an established aviator James managed multi – diverse contracts for Rossair Contracts in Afghanistan, Angola and Algeria. His duties included the management of all logistics and technical aspects, management of finances, aircraft maintenance and client liaison on behalf of Rossair. James is a qualified military and airline pilot with 23 years of experience in aviation and is qualified on the Boeing 737 Series, MD82 Series and on the Airbus A319/A320/A330/A340 Series
Dr Smit is a well-known businessman who believes in building healthy business relationships by promoting honest and ethical conduct in all his business dealings. As an accomplished entrepreneur, he established his first Multi Million Business (1995) before the age of 20. Being a high-level executive comes with a certain level of prestige that leads to certain honours. One honour afforded to Dr Smit was being elected as best young entrepreneur by The Akasia business chamber. Dr Smit is a true pioneer in the business world. He is a business leader that, through his style of management, principles and ideas, inspires and motivates others to push themselves in honing their skills and expertise. As a corporate leader, he feels it is his duty to take the successes he has and find a way to use them for the good of community-based programs and organizations with whom his values align. He selflessly devotes his life by giving back to the community by providing healthy meals and food parcels to families in need. Dr Smit is a master at effectively positioning himself where he can have optimal impact and he has ventured into various other areas in order to diversify his skillset. It is certain that he is one of the most rounded local corporate leaders and believes in surrounding himself with people that share the same business ethics and values. Toitjie du Toit is co-founder and director of Energon Petroleum (Pty) Ltd. He has established himself as an accomplished business entrepreneur with over 40 years of financial and leadership experience and outstanding business skills. After serving in the Military Airforce, he studied Cost Accounting at the Technikon of Pretoria. He entered the business- and motor industry in 1978 as a Junior Financial Executive where due to his visionary perspective, his Nissan Dealership grew into the biggest Nissan dealer in South Africa and received numerous ‘Dealer of The Year’ awards. Toitjie holds directorship in various diversified companies in South Africa and has established himself as a renowned presence and influencer who has also received the ‘Pretoria Businessman of the year’ award. He is actively involved in mining and commodity trading, property development, as well as in the energy sector of which Energon Petroleum is currently operating in South Africa and venturing to other African countries. He is highly motivated and strives for performance and excellence and due to his creative vision, he became a leader in the embryo transplant field, specialising in stud cattle breeding in South Africa. He also served on the Board of Refin Financial Services, operating in the financial sector, which later expanded to New Zealand. Toitjie is passionate about giving back to the community. He believes that when blessed with much, the gift is to give back to those in need and to pay it forward to those who have supported him. He wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and has established Realtor Property Investments, investing in the pharmaceutical and medical field, to be able to build new hospitals and clinics for the community. He was recently honoured by being appointed as vice-chairman of the Afri Med SA Group and Afri Med International.
